FAQ
How do I sign up/register?
Email Beth at: elizabethmarysmith25@gmail.com
I will send you the contract for your shoot. A signed contract and retainer are required to officially be registered for the workshop.
How many photographers/videographers are allowed to attend?
We only allow 10 photo/videographers per shoot to keep the group size small and intimate while allowing you to be one of the few people showcasing this content. We break in to two groups while shooting the majority of our content for more hands on posing opportunities. Our small group size also has a smaller impact on the areas we visit, aligning with our Leave No Trace policy.
Is there a contract?
Yes! The contract is there to protect both of us! Upon inquiry you will be sent the contract. It will need to be signed in order to be registered for the workshop.
The contract guarantees content and group size or your money back. We have been to terrible workshops where mood boards did not align with the shoots and group sizes were wildly out of hand. We promise to honor the integrity of our shoots for both you, the models, and our vendors.
Where can we see workshops you've hosted?
All images on this website are from 2023 workshops. We also post BTS (behind the scenes) on our FACEBOOK and IG @wilderworkshops.
How do you communicate with the group?
We have a private Facebook group for attendees, models, and vendors for each group. You will be sent a link to join the group upon registration. All communication will be sent through this group- timelines, maps, packing info, and any other important things of note.
Is lodging included?
Some shoots offer lodging included or as an add on option and we will advertise those spots as such. We typically like to opt out of providing lodging as most of our attendees choose to travel with a spouse or as a family and often extend their time in the area we are shooting and would need additional lodging options beyond our workshop dates.
By forgoing guaranteed lodging we are able to provide a lower price for tickets as well. We do encourage those interested in shared lodging when it is not an option to reach out to other attendees in the facebook group- often times people will share rides and lodging!
Can my spouse/mom/friend attend?
In short- YES! We love being able to include your loved ones on these adventures- we even have a family member tag along with us to help with behind the scenes stuff. Often times the spouses become our biggest cheerleaders and are great at helping us toss veils or carry equipment. And while we include our beloved four legged friends as family, unfortunately we can not allow dogs or other animals along on our workshops. (service animals are the exception to this and must be discussed ahead of time)
Some expectations if you do decided to bring someone:
We do ask that you limit this to one person in attendance - if you are traveling with more than one guest we always post points of interests and activities in the area that would be of interest for them while you focus on shooting.
We do ask that your guest does not shoot the content/models, but taking BTS on a cell phone of you is fine.
If there is a fee for an activity your guest will need to cover the cost. (IE our glacier tour in Alaska will require an additional fee for non workshop attendees)
If food is included in your workshop your family member will be responsible for bringing their own meal or can be added on for $12 per meal (what we budget for attendees).
As always- if you have any questions or need clarification please ask!
Is there a discount if my friend and I join together?
Full transparency- we aren't in this for the money. If we were tickets would cost a lot more. Every workshop budget is meant to cover expenses and that is it. Because of this we are unable to offer discounts/sales.
What happens if I can't make it after registering?
We get it- things come up. You are welcome to re-sell your ticket if you are unable to attend and we are happy to assist you in this as well.
